Juni was een rustigere maand. De afgelopen maanden hebben we erg veel dingen gedaan dus in juni was het tijd om wat rustiger aan te doen, met wat tijd voor elkaar en de poesjes. Vandaar ook alle poezenfoto’s in het overzichtje 🙂 Verder zijn we deze maand nog naar de Pasar Malam in Den Haag geweest, naar het lege Land van Ooit en naar Movie Park.
Afgelopen maand heb ik één film gezien in de bioscoop, namelijk Tolkien. Ook zijn we naar een voorstelling van Wow Effect Theater geweest, namelijk Jekyll & Hyde.
In juni las ik 6 boeken, namelijk Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Marietje Appelgat en haar vieze vrienden (jeugdsentiment!), de jongen met twee namen, We are okay, the princess saves herself in this one en The Silent Patient.
Ik hoop dat jullie ook een leuke maand achter de rug hebben!
Wat vliegt de tijd toch! Mei begon met een driedaagse vakantie naar Keulen en de Eifel. Verder zijn we nog een dagje naar Amsterdam geweest en hebben we genoten van het lekkere weer op onze rolschaatsen.
Ik las slechts twee boeken afgelopen maand, namelijk De zon is ook een ster van Nicola Yoon en Legendary van Stephanie Garber. We keken The Society, Cuckoo en What If op Netflix en Detective Pikachu en Aladdin in de bioscoop.
April was een volle maand. Ik verfde mijn haar roze (wat er helaas inmiddels alweer uit is) en ging naar Elfia, de Efteling en de tulpenvelden. Ook gingen we olifanten spotten in Tilburg tijdens de elephant parade en kochten vriendlief en ik rolschaatsen en skates. Waar ik overigens echt heel slecht in ben, maar ik leer het wel…
De afgelopen week was het tijd om wat rustiger aan te doen, en heb ik lekker met mijn poezen gespeeld en geknuffeld en veel gelezen en genetflixt.
Ik las De schelmenstreken van Reinaert de Vos in de editie van Koos Meijnderts, Ruin & Rising van Leigh Bardugo (het derde en laatste deel in de Shadow & Bone trilogie), Release van Patrick Ness, Literaire plekken van Sarah Baxter, All of this is true van Lygia Day Penaflor en The traveling cat chronicles van Hiro Arikawa.
Via netflix keken we Brooklyn 99, het tweede seizoen van Sabrina, Bonding en Russian Doll en we zijn nu weer op zoek naar iets nieuws om te kijken. Mochten jullie nog aanraders hebben, ik hoor ze graag 🙂

Samenvatting:
The title of this British series is derived from the education of the main character (Otis Milburn played by Asa Butterfield) and his classmates in high school. His mother (Jean Milburn played by Gillian Anderson) is a sex therapist. Through a series of events, Otis becomes a sex therapist in school – for his fellow high students.
This accidentally happens and is recognized by Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey). Maeve sees the financial potential so she forms an agreement where she will find the sexually needy customers for Asa and handle all the business aspects (collecting the money). Asa only has to counsel his classmates in the same manner as his mother does for adults. His mother is very blunt with Asa so dealing with uncomfortable situations comes naturally for Asa as he grows into becoming a therapist.

It is my sad duty to write down these unpleasant tales, but there is nothing stopping you from putting this book down at once and reading something happy, if you prefer that sort of thing.
