DSC07017Hoi allemaal! Misschien wat veel showcases na elkaar, maar hierna blijft het even stil, omdat ik niet van plan ben om meer boeken te kopen deze maand. Wellicht komt er nog wat aan het einde van de maand, wanneer de poëzieweek begint. Altijd een goede reden om nieuwe dichtbundels aan te schaffen!
In ieder geval, ik heb met kerst wat cadeau- en boekenbonnen gekregen waarmee ik nog wat toffe extra kerstcadeautjes voor mezelf heb uitgekozen. Nieuwsgierig geworden? Lees dan verder 🙂

Showcase Sunday XL

ShowcaseDag allemaal! Zoals jullie misschien gezien hebben, heb ik al een paar zondagen achter elkaar geen showcase geplaatst. Dat komt omdat het superduperdruk was. De afgelopen weekenden had ik ieder weekend wel iets staan. Evenementen, verjaardagen… en naast mijn toffe drukke nieuwe baan had ik geen tijd om een showcaseje te tikken. Maar gelukkig had en heb ik nog superveel recensies in mijn drafts staan, dus kon ik jullie ten minste wel iets te lezen geven!
Vandaag, om het goed te maken, heb ik voor jullie een Showcase Sunday XL! Met boeken van de Dag van het Fantastische Boek, Elfia én Yalfest. En dat zijn er nogal wat!

Books of February

DSC03493Hoi allemaal!
Eigenlijk wil ik heel graag een boek gelijk recenseren wanneer ik het uitgelezen heb. Maar ik heb nog meer dan 50 recensies in drafts staan die ik wel steeds vaker probeer in te plannen en ik heb nog een stuk of 17 boeken op mijn lijstje staan die nog gerecenseerd moeten worden. Ik ben goed op weg, maar het gaat nog wel even duren tot ik bij ben. Dus ik had een ander plan. Aan het eind van iedere maand laat ik jullie zien welke boeken ik die maand gelezen heb, en dan geef ik een korte recensie. De uitgebreide recensie komt dan later nog, maar dan zijn jullie iets meer op de hoogte. Ik hoop dat jullie dit een leuk idee vinden!

ShowcaseHoi allemaal! Het is weer zondag, dus tijd voor een showcase! Ik heb een aantal mooie boeken om jullie te laten zien. En voorlopig is het de laatste, want mijn kast puilt uit, dus ik vond het tijd voor een nieuwe book buying ban (al is het volgende week wel boekenfestijn in Nieuwegein, dus ik moet even kijken of het lukt…)

Judge a book by its cover

IMG_2503Soms kom je boeken tegen die gewoon zó mooi vormgegeven zijn dat je niet anders kunt dan ze oppakken. Veel van die covers kom ik tegen via Instagram. Ik maak dan altijd een printscreen zodat ik de boeken kan opslaan en later kan opzoeken. Ik heb inmiddels zo veel foto’s dat het me wel leuk leek om de boeken met jullie te delen!
