Dit boek kwam ik tegen op het boekenfestijn. Om eerlijk te zijn, ik kom deze elke keer tegen als ik daar ben, maar tot nu toe had ik hem elke keer laten liggen. Maar om de een of andere reden besloot ik, nu is het tijd om te gaan lezen. En wat is het een prachtig boek! Zonde dat ik hem zo lang heb laten liggen.

Het verhaal is echt heel mooi, het is mooi, literair geschreven en het intrigeert je. Het verhaal bestaat uit verschillende verhaallijnen en je wil telkens weten hoe het met alle personages verder gaat. Het verhaal is erg goed uitgewerkt en de verhaallijnen maken elkaar af. Steeds wordt er een nieuw deel van de puzzel laten zien die de wereld is. De personages zijn levend en overtuigend. Ze raken je en houden je bij het verhaal. Ze komen vanuit het papier tot leven.

Het verhaal laat zien dat iedereen op de een of andere manier verbonden is. De wereld is klein en we lijken op elkaar. We hebben misschien niet dezelfde problemen of willen niet dezelfde dingen, toch zijn we allemaal hetzelfde: menselijk.

Ik vond dit echt een heel mooi boek dat me zeer geraakt heeft. Ik wil het eigenlijk snel weer gaan herlezen. Maar niet voordat ik het aan jullie aanraad, dus bij deze. Ga dit boek lezen.
