Dit was een van de drie genomineerde boeken voor de Bored to death bookclub. Uiteindelijk gingen de meeste stemmen naar een ander boek, maar ik was zo dol op deze premise dat ik hem alsnog besloot te kopen. Ik vond het gewoon zo leuk klinken, en dat was het ook!

Naast dat het een toffe premise was, vond ik ook de cover heel erg mooi. Dit boek is een toffe toevoeging aan mijn boekenkast!

Okay, maar, recensietijd! Het verhaal is heel leuk. Je kan er snel in komen en het is gemakkelijk geschreven dus je leest het vlot. De dromen zijn ontzettend leuk beschreven en geven je de mogelijkheid om er zelf ook bij weg te dromen. Dat geldt ook voor de rest van het boek, het is een heerlijk boek om in één keer uit te lezen.

Daarnaast wordt het ook verklaard hoe het kan dat Alice en Max over elkaar dromen en dat vind ik erg sterk. Het voegt veel toe.

Ten slotte zijn de personages leuk en goed uitgewerkt waardoor je goed met ze mee kunt leven.
