Dit derde deel was een stuk beter dan deel twee! Deel twee voelde voor mij als een opvuldeel, met gebeurtenissen die plaatsvonden simpelweg om het boek vol te krijgen en er een trilogie van te maken (serieus, wat is er mis met een simpele standalone tegenwoordig, waarom zijn alle YA series in drievoud?) Anyway, dit was het slotstuk van de serie, en ik moet zeggen dat hij een stuk beter was.

Er is zo veel actie, het is spannend en je MOET echt weten hoe het verhaal verder gaat. Het boek heb je in no time uit, omdat het dankzij de actie zo ontzettend vlot leest, dat je er met een enorme vaart doorheen gaat.

Het verhaal is goed uitgewerkt, al vind ik de titel wel enorm flauw. Het verhaal zelf is leuk geschreven en ik kwam zelfs een verwijzing naar Rapunzel tegen. Dat maakt mijn sprookjesliefhebbende hart erg blij.

Het einde vind ik enorm sterk en leuk en daarvoor geef ik dan ook vijf sterren. Het boek zelf verdient er vier.
