Voor wie het nog niet door had: ik ben best wel dol op boeken. Een van mijn favoriete bezigheden is dan ook het rondsnuffelen in boekwinkels. En ik word best wel blij als ik met een nieuw boek (of een tweedehands boek) naar buiten loop. Ja, toegegeven, ik ben best wel een book geek. Maar tegelijkertijd ben ik ook een arme student. Er zijn zoveel boeken die ik zou willen kopen, maar mijn portemonnee laat dat helaas niet toe. Wat ik dan doe? Ik maak een foto van het boek dat ik wil kopen, zodat ik hem niet vergeet. En dan kom ik later wel een keertje terug.
Inmiddels zijn dat best wel wat boeken. En het leek me leuk om die aan jullie te laten zien!

Ik had eigenlijk een andere omslagtekst gelezen, die klonk spannender dan deze, moet ik zeggen. Ik vind het wel een interessant concept voor een boek.

Anthony Holden – Poems that make grown men cry

Gedichten zijn tof, en krachtig. In deze bundel kiezen bekende auteurs het meest krachtige gedicht dat ze kennen: een gedicht dat een volwassen man aan het huilen kan brengen.

Ik ben voornamelijk heel erg weg van de cover van dit boek. Ik weet nog niet wat ik van het verhaal moet vinden. Misschien is dit een boek dat ik beter bij de bibliotheek kan lenen.

Ik werd zo enthousiast toen ik dit boek in de boekhandel zag. Ik heb de film The neverending story ontelbaar veel keren gezien, het was mijn lievelingsfilm toen ik jonger was. Ik wist niet dat er een boek van was. Ik ben echt heel nieuwsgierig naar het boek!

999 vragen aan jezelf
Wat is er leuker dan vragen over jezelf beantwoorden? Dat dachten wij ook: niets! Daarom is er nu dit boek waarin iedereen zijn of haar ei kwijt kan, 999 eieren om precies te zijn.
We vragen je het hemd van het lijf over alles en iedereen in je leven, van je geboorte tot nu en over de toekomst. Er zijn open vragen, meerkeuzevragen, ja/nee-vragen, tweekeuzevragen, ‘drie dingen-vragen’, 10-punts schalen … we maken er een topsport van. En als je dan eenmaal klaar bent, heb je een fantastisch nalatenschap voor latere generaties en een compendium dat je kunt uitreiken aan mensen die je in jouw ogen nog niet goed genoeg kennen.

Ik kwam dit boekje tegen in de Ako. Ik vond ze echt heel erg leuk, dit soort vragenboekjes. Ik ben nu nog aan het bedenken of ik deze wil kopen, of toch de Q&A a day for five years. Iemand suggesties?
